mmmm...the past...13 years old....first official gig.....a pub in chorley ...drumming and singing.

A few years doing same on Bolton and district rock circuit before forming, and becoming lead singer in power pop band ` The CRITICS` , releasing one 7`` single. Next...played guitar and sang in a psychedelic pop combo as well as singing in a SKA/ Metal band !!! Morphed into pop rock band `The Noble Kind ` ( with a bit of Goth rock thrown in between ) releasing one 7`` single and playing decent venues like Manchester International and London Dingwalls as well as gigs in Amsterdam etc.

Er... then singing in a well known Bolton rock covers band as well as drumming in a `Swing` band followed by singing in a `Maiden` style metal band. Became rhythm guitarist, then singer in Sleaze rock band `SMASHED`, releasing one 7`` single, supporting great bands like The Wild hearts `along the way.
Fell back onto the drum stool in a soul band for a while before once again morphing, this time, into Brian Connolly!
Sweet! That's the short version. Maybe i should write a book!

Musically i love songs with a catchy chorus or a hefty hookline.
