New Gigs Added
ACEDC are playing a prestigious outdoor event behind the Roebuck pub Witton Street Northwich. The triumph thunder sprint is where Northwich main street is closed for bike drag racing. There are bands playing for 2 days and we'll be on a special stage with huge pa behind the Roebuck Pub Witton St at 3.30pm
ACEDC Update
It's around a year since our first gig. We've made a few new friends on the way and are building up our gig network. We never seem to be able to play enough and apologies for slow web updates due to personal commitments but we're getting there.
Highlights of the last couple of months:
-Playing THE PUB in Lancater. A great crowd and the landlady doesn't half make us look ugly.
- New venue THE NELSON in our home ground St. Helens (Hell..ens aint a bad place to be as Bonn would say). We were well supported by "DVD" an up and coming rock band form Warrington.Let's do it again sometime.
Some old SNATCHBACK roadcrew mates came out of the woodwork; DJ, Chris McG and Rimbo as well as some 70s Milhouse space cadets. AndyT from Schooldaze (didn't wear a uniform though). Also top queen tribute GAGA looking for a support gig and free sauna. This brought back the fantastic nights with THE FLUD (masters of the harmonic Styxs and Queen) doing those SNATCHBACK double headlines at HARESFINCH club. Nice to see you all bring back good memories. Hope to see you at the Bell in May.
-An all time low with severe let downs at the hotel California... he's a "Fairy Fella" as Queen would say about the agent on their first album. But we chose the right gig in the SWINGING ARM.
-All time high with a great time thanks to ERIC at THE SWINGING ARM. Strange thing about Birkenhead is all the blokes are as ugly as us but the women are angels. Nice knee rubbing...we like that. Also A friend from the last Cali gig turns out to be an old regular at THE GERALDO a 70s St. helens Rock club " THE ALBATROS.. did he have a fishnet hole type denim jacket??
- Of course we were delighted to play in Wrexham last year near THE BIG BALL for CELTIC RIDERS bike rally. A nice acheivement for year 1. - We are really excited about our new recordings. Only backing vocals and mix to go. This time we are taking a little more time and believe me it will be worth the wait. We are aiming to put something of our own character into this work with lots of live energy....as well as make it a great studio tribute to AC / DC.
I think we have acheived what we set out to do. OK... nice druming Ste we'll give you that. Hope to see you all soon.Drop us an email on byatt@blueyonder.co.uk

Miles from Nowhere Rally
ACEDC are honored to be asked to headline the 16th miles from Nowhere Rally on Friday 31st August.
Check it out on www.celticriders.com for tickets and camping, etc. This is a great 3 day event with loads of bands, obscene Bon Scott type opening hour bars, bikes, babes and balls.
Remember this is the territory that brought us the world famous ACDC Big Ball convention so we are treading hallowed ground with lots of like minded fans. Guaranteed to be superb event whatever you tastes.
Be great to catch up with local artists Cath and Paul. Paul was one of the actual good guys Ste mentioned in his bio as being at the Liverpool Bon gigs and worked with our bands in the 70s... CHEERS MATES!
CD copies available
At last CD copies available. Download our new "Golden Balls Dave" remaster. It's louder and livelier than ever.
Remember this is our "Done Dirt Cheap" 3 tracks rushed and mixed in one powerage of a rock day. Done very soon after we formed. Yes we would do it differently now but Daves brought out the raw rock party of it all. Send me an email, at steb@acedcrocks.com , if you want a hard copy, or download the remastered tracks here - but most of all enjoy

The Big issue
ACEDC have been reviewed in the July 07 edition of the Big issue magazine:
"ACE/DC are one of the best tribute acts on the circuit thanks to their energetic, pitch perfect shows. It's not quite the same as seeing the real thing, but to indulge in all your AC/DC fantasies this is a bargain."
Hotel California: Gladiators of Rock

Zoo Bar gig sellout!
Officially the highest number audience EVER at a Zoo gig.
This includes top USA bands, Snowey White, Wishbone Ash, etc, etc. ACEDC thank you all for a tremendous night. A true tribute to ACDC was this audience!
Great to see friends new and old. Lots of beaming smiles handshaking and hugging said it all. We believe that when our balls are held for pleasure they're the balls that we like best. It's a pity they could not be held every night but we'll be back 24th September at the Zoo.
Thanks also to DT on sound, Deano on T shirt and wobbley walk and Griff for the opportunity to shine
Due to consistent demand ACEDC will be including some Brian Johnstone toons in the set in the near future. Selection and rehearsal is underway. We want as many people at the party as possible so hate to disappoint
What a terrific crowd at Warrington.
We've never seen a crowd 100% into the gig from the first note to the last. The atmosphere was electric.
We realise it's the audience that makes the band and ACE/DC thanks you all fro making this an incredible moment in rock history.
We are back again at Warrington on 18th May due to the incredible demand.
Let there be rock- Let's do it again.
